Martin began his security journey as a safety steward. Over time, he progressed to the role of Area Manager, overseeing operations with an annual turnover exceeding £2 million while playing a senior role in some of the UK’s largest events. To underpin this experience, he pursued a foundation degree in Crowd Safety, followed by a BA in Crowd Management and Event Safety. In 2021, Martin transitioned into freelance consulting for the event security industry. This role has taken him around the globe, collaborating with diverse teams from various nationalities, abilities, and levels of experience. These opportunities have aligned perfectly with his management style, which focuses on sharing his experience to empower others, fostering confidence, and enabling professional growth within the teams he supports.
